We're a state-funded service providing information about adoption to:
- Adolescents and adults experiencing unplanned pregnancies
- Birth fathers, who want to know what their rights are
- Prospective adoptive parents
- Social workers and the general public
We provide the following services
- Adoption information and referral to birth parents, adoptive parents, adult adoptees and professionals
- A confidential and toll-free telephone line in Wisconsin
- Training about adoption as an option for professionals who work with adolescents and adults
- Publicity to increase public awareness and improve the public’s image of adoption as a positive option for an unplanned pregnancy

Our Mission
We believe the best possible decision for adoption options is an informed decision. Our mission includes increasing the public's awareness of adoption as an option for an unplanned pregnancy and promoting the availability of adoption resources in Wisconsin. We offer comprehensive information regarding all aspects of adoption.
The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families provides funding for the Wisconsin Adoption Information Center. Adoption Resources of Wisconsin operates the Wisconsin Adoption Information Center under contract.
